…pues yo creo que un año me va a quedar corto. Dos semanas en ruta y fuera de las agradables rutas recorridas, he disfrutado buenos momentos con grandes amigos y he terminado en paseos que en ningún momento tenía planeados: El fin de semana pasado viaje a la ciudad de Austin con mi amigo Santiago. Fuimos recibidos en la casa de unos parceros de Cali y Barranquilla que viven en esta ciudad y pues tras una noche de buena fiesta, el Sábado visitamos el Lago Austin en una lancha bien juguetuda de estos manes y pues ni hablar del paseo que nos metimos, un paisaje bien chévere, unas casas impresionantes y muy buenas atenciones. Ojala cada destino me siga sorprendiendo con sorpresas tan agradables, así sigue uno hasta el fin del mundo.
He recibido muchos mensajes de ánimo y apoyo de mucha gente, amigos, familia, compañeros de trabajo e inclusive personas que nunca he conocido, muchos moteros colombianos me han dado ánimo y ofrecido ayuda cuando sea que lo requiera. Gracias ha todos por estos mensajes, la verdad que sirven y animan para seguir adelante… espero tener la oportunidad de conocer a aquellos que no conozca y compartir experiencias.
Ayer dedique un día completo al mantenimiento de la motico (en un taller improvisado pero bien especial: con piscina y todo)… cambio de aceite, de bujías, lavado, chequeo de ajuste, líquidos, frenos, suspensión, dirección, etc... y pues lista esta para continuar, si todo sale bien, mañana partiré rumbo costa este…. Y a andar se dijo... ahí nos vemos!

… I think a year won’t be enough. Two weeks enroute and aside from the nice roads ridden, I have enjoyed good times with great friends and have ended up doing things that I have not accounted for: Last weekend I went to Austin, TX with my friend Santiago. We were received by some friends from Cali and Barranquilla (Colombia) in their hose in this city, and after a good night of partying, on Saturday we went to Lake Austin in a very nice boat this guys have and no words to describe the trip: an awesome landscape, some amazing lakeside houses and very good treatments. I hope each destiny keeps surprising me with this kind of nice experiences, that way I could go to the end of the world.
I have received lots of encouragement and support messages from many people, friends, family, work mates and even people I have never met. Lots of bike riders from Colombia have encourage me and offered help whenever I may need it. Thanks to all for these messages, they truly help to keep on going… Hope I have the chance to meet those of you I don’t know and share some experiences with you all...
Yesterday I had a maintenance day on the bike (and improvised but very nice shop : with pool and everything)… oil change, spark plugs, bike wash, overall check, fluids, brakes, suspension, steering, etc.. and the bike is ready to continue, if all goes fine, tomorrow I will leave and head towards east coast… and riding goes on… I’ll see you then.
